Time Saving Tips:
•
Forms:
Our forms
look intensive but they
should only take you a few minutes to actually fill them out.
Doing so prior to your schedule appointment saves you time on the day of your
procedure.
We
have chosen
"Adobe (.PDF)"
format. If you do not have the ability to open this document
Please call at (714) 742-8895 and we can fax them to you.
•
Brows and Lips:
Bring your favorite makeup pencil with you when you come in for your
appointment. The color is
a great indicator as to shade and tone preferences.
If you have no brow hair, light or over tweezed brows but you once had them. Then
bring in a
picture
of yourself that shows the brows we will restore!
Relaxation Techniques:
•
First of all, don't worry. Half of most
anxiety you might be feeling is not knowing what to expect.
So here is a brief synopsis of what you can
expect in your 2 hour visit.
*
15 minutes of paperwork (Unless you fill
them out prior to your appointment)
*
The taking of "Before" pictures.
*
Discussion of your desires/expectations.
Shaping and drawing (if necessary) and
color selection. (This is the longest part of the process!)
*
The application of anesthesia and a rest
period while the topical takes effect.
(Or in other words, a 20 + minute nap!)
*
The tattooing process itself.
*
The taking of "After" pictures.
*
"After Care" instructions
•
If you still need some relaxation suggestions we have the recommendations listed
below. These
guidelines
help to alleviate stress and aid in soothing tensions commonly associated with
the
process of
cosmetic tattooing.
*
Get plenty of sleep the night before.
*
No alcohol, coffee or caffeinated drinks
*
No stimulants of any kind.
*
Eat a good meal before your visit. (Note:
That bananas, apple juice & tomato juice
are high in potassium which aid in strengthening our comfort levels.)
*
Drink plenty of water before your visit.
Additional Information:
•
Attire:
Appropriate clothing should be considered as we will not assume any
responsibility for
any
damage to your personal garments.
•
Makeup hints:
When can I wear my makeup? (The number one "after" procedure question.)
*Mascara
We do not recommend the use of mascara for 5 -7 days or until the initial
healing
process is over. However, you can use Waterproof mascara as long as it is a new tube and you don't remove the
mascara! The ingredients in the products
you use to remove the mascara are more harmful then the mascara itself to the
procedure
area. As with all product use, you assume total responsibility for any
and all reactions to anything you choose to use.
*Mineral
Make up
Having a camouflage procedure? Or any other procedure requiring cover ups or
foundations? You may use Mineral Make-up during the healing process.
However, it must be a new container and a new brush! And once again can
not
be removed with anything other than water. You assume responsibility for any
reactions to the products you are using.
